Goliath has been a staple at Gatorama since 1968, arriving as a young adult and quickly earning his reputation as the ultimate apex predator. For the first 30 years, he lived in the front pond, where he socialized with other crocodiles and alligators—until it became clear that Goliath didn’t just socialize… he ruled.
His dominance was absolute. Any animal that dared challenge him met a fight to the death. Over time, Goliath killed several alligators and crocodiles, earning the fear and respect of every resident in the pond. For the safety of the endangered American Crocodiles, Goliath was moved to his own pool, where he continues to live today as Gatorama’s deadliest animal on record.
In June 2025, Goliath reached a milestone few crocs ever see when he celebrated his 75th birthday! Guests celebrated with a Goliath-only feeding show (because when you’re king, you eat first), complete with cake, games, and plenty of jaw-snapping fun with the Gatorama crew.
From hatchling to heavyweight, Goliath is a living legend: grumpy, glorious, and unforgettable. Whether you come to see him dominate the pond or simply marvel at his size and power, Goliath is true swamp royalty—and long may he reign.
